Dedication of my original oil painting PERSEVERANCE to the citizens of Canadian Texas, in honor of their sacrifies and losses in the Smokehouse Wildfire disaster of February 2024. With the Honorable Judge Lisa Johnson, October 15, 2024. City of Canadian Texas courthouse. In attendance was Honorable Judge Christy Dyer of Randall County, who generously paid for at auction and subsequently donated this painting to the fire victims and citizens of Canadian Texas-Hemphill County. My painting was commissioned by and donated for auction at the RANGELAND FIRE BENEFIT AND CONCERT, held in Amarillo Texas, 21 April 2024.
